Lucent are currently hiring a Director of Digital Acquisition Marketing for an early-stage New York based mobile app business that already has hundreds of thousands of users. The company has received significant series A investment and is looking to make this key hire to drive customer acquisition and subscription growth. Leading customer acquisition, your work will be pivotal to the success of the company, so we are looking for someone entrepreneurial and passionate about their mission. Therefore, you will care about mental health and want to work in a company that uses tech for good.
The Director of Digital Acquisition Marketing will be a highly quantitative results-driven performance marketer who drives effective growth. Working directly with the CEO and closely with the product team and their agency partners, you'll have responsibility for growing paid advertising spend across all current digital platforms and opening up new channels. You'll drive subscriber acquisition while closely monitoring CAC and help to open at least one new acquisition channel this year.
You'll be a proven performance marketer with a deeply quantitative, test and learn mindset. You will thrive in this role if you’ve run direct response marketing campaigns, performance-based digital marketing campaigns and grown a user/subscriber base significantly over a short period of time, ideally in a product where there are an app and a website, and both have been used for driving new customers.
You'll be experienced managing a budget of over $1m per annum across multiple channels for a consumer web/mobile app. It's important that you've done this yourself and have not relied on an agency to do this.
You'll have managed agency relationships before and ideally sourced new external agencies.
Experience of Facebook is required. Experience of Apple Search, Adwords, SEO and other ad platforms are all very nice to have, but these are not essential.
You'll have experience using mobile marketing attribution software.
It's essential that you have an appreciation of the interplay between direct marketing and brand.
