The Lucent Group are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer who enjoys continually identifying, solving and testing issues to ensure the best client experience. Adopting an AGILE methodology, you will be well versed the .NET space and have the expertise to manage both UAT and NFT. This role is an excellent opportunity for a Senior QA Engineer to move into a Lead QA position, or for a Lead QA to join a company where they will have the chance to shape and grow the QA function.

As the Lead QA, your responsibilities will include
Setting the strategy and direction of Automation best practices
Supporting development across multiple teams
Working alongside all departments to ensure deliverables to cost and timeframes
Implementing complex test suite frameworks and solutions
Continuing to maintain AGILE methodologies
Prioritising multiple project workstreams
Writing test and acceptance criteria for automated programmes
The successful Lead QA’s experience will include
You will be an experienced Senior QA keen to take the next step in your career, or an established Lead QA
Writing automated tests for systems built using Microsoft technologies like .Net and Azure
Testing mobile apps and APIs
Strong experience in acceptance criteria/test script
NFT, UAT and Performance/Load Testing
Working in an AGILE Environment
Prioritising work whilst working with multiple people and teams
Implementing appropriate tools and frameworks
You will have a strong commercial acumen toward QA and client deliverables and be keen to join a growing team where technical standards and reputation are high.Ideally, you will have a relevant degree or experience backed up with professional qualifications in testing and quality assurance.
Candidates will be expected to work in Edinburgh two days per week post COVID, but will be able to be more office based full time if they wish to be.
